About Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj
Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj was a great 19th-century saint of the Dattatreya tradition and is widely revered as the Swami of Akkalkot. A self-realized yogi and divine master, he traveled across India guiding seekers with simple yet powerful teachings of faith, patience, and selfless service. He finally settled in Akkalkot, Maharashtra, where he spent the last years of his life blessing countless devotees. Swami Samarth taught that fear disappears when faith is strong, and his divine assurance — “भिऊ नकोस, मी तुझ्या पाठीशी आहे” — continues to give strength and hope to millions. Even today, devotees experience his grace through devotion, prayer, and sincere surrender.
